See How Our Garden Grows

Last updated on September 17th, 2020 at 07:16 pm

Summer is in full swing, and that means Mother Nature’s beauty is on display everywhere, including the Boiron Medicinal Garden. Since 2015, Boiron has partnered with the Rodale Institute to showcase the herbs and flowers used in creating homeopathic medicines. There is no better botanical home than at this organic research farm dedicated to improving the health and well-being of people and the planet.

Earlier this year, the garden was moved to a new location adjacent to the old site, to provide more beneficial light for the flowers. And we’ve been rewarded with happier plants! Boiron employees have also enjoyed training and enrichment activities here as well.

The medicinal garden features Arnica montana (mountain daisy), Calendula officinalis (garden marigold), Chamomilla (chamomile), Hypericum perforatum (St. John’s wort), Gelsemium sempervirens (yellow jasmine), and many other therapeutic plants found in some of Boiron’s most popular medicines.

If you’re local to the Philadelphia area or are planning to visit, we highly encourage you to see the plants in person before summer ends. But if you can’t, here’s a peek at what’s been growing this season.

The Boiron Medicinal Garden and the Rodale Institute are free and open to the public year-round. For information about hours and location, please visit RodaleInstitute.org
