Stay Healthy on Vacation with These Essential Singles

Last updated on July 28th, 2022 at 01:56 pm

Vacation days are a precious commodity. You hoard them all year, saving them for your special trip. And the last thing you want to deal with on vacation is getting sick or injured. There are a host of homeopathic medicines that you should keep in your suitcase, backpack, or purse should an illness or injury occur.

Tabacum is for travelers experiencing motion sickness with cold sweat and improved by fresh air.*

Don’t let motion sickness spoil your vacation.

Cocculus indicus is another choice for motion sickness with a need to lie down.*

Borax has two indications in homeopathy. It helps with motion sickness triggered by acceleration or takeoff and it helps relieve painful canker sores.*

Petroleum relieves motion sickness improved by eating and by heat especially when travelling on a boat.*

Nux vomica is your go-to to relieve drowsiness and digestive problems associated with travel.* When traveling east, people more often suffer from drowsiness due to their sleep schedule being off. When traveling west, people more often suffer from digestive issues due to meals being off schedule.

Arnica montana is one of the most commonly used homeopathic medicines in the world. It helps relieve stiffness that tends to set in on trips that require long hours of sitting, as well as muscle pain after an active day.*

These single medicines–each about the size of a tube of lip balm–are ultra-portable and can be stashed in a backpack or purse for use when needed.

It’s much easier to enjoy your vacation when you’re prepared. For more healthy tips for travel, visit our Oscillo Wellness Naturally site.

  1. Could you advise how much and how often of each of these one is to use? Also, are there different formulations? Sometimes it’s easier to carry & take pills, but if it is powder that needs to be mixed with water, then one needs to plan ahead for that (carry small collapsible cup to use with bottled water). Do you take these at the onset of symptoms or before as a preventative?
    Thanks!
