An expert in integrative care, Dr. Lauri Grossman is a licensed chiropractor and homeopath and chairs the Department of International Affairs at the American Medical College of Homeopathy. Dr. Grossman was a speaker at the 39th Annual Arab Health Exhibition and Congress in Dubai last week and shared her experience with us.
The Arab Health Exhibition and Congress is one of the world’s largest medical events. At this year’s event, there were around 85,000 doctors, nurses, pharmacists and other health care providers from 153 different countries in attendance. On the second day of the conference, I presented a case on burns to the face treated with an integrative approach, including homeopathic medicines. I also moderated a session on allergies and upper respiratory tract infections. At the conference’s closing event, I was on a panel that discussed the direction of homeopathy worldwide and challenges before the profession. Others who spoke included Dr. Peter Fisher, Clinical Director of Research  at the Royal London Hospital for Integrative Medicine in London, and Dr. Kulwat Singh, Dean of Homeopathic Faculty at Vinoba Bhave University and Professor of Surgery at S H Medical College in Jamshedpur, India. It was wonderful to meet so many homeopathic physicians from around the world. The photos below include several of the doctors and pharmacists I met from the UK, UAE, Italy, Germany, Afghanistan and New Zealand.
