Do Your Part to Keep America Beautiful—Recycle!

Last updated on August 9th, 2022 at 11:24 am

Since its inception in 1997, America Recycles Day, recognized every November 15, has celebrated the successes of recycling while providing an educational platform that helps raise awareness about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling—every day—all throughout the year. America Recycles Day is a national initiative of Keep America Beautiful, Inc. (KAB), the nation’s largest volunteer-based community action and education organization.

Online registration is now open for local organizers to schedule events in their communities and gain access to valuable resources such as best practices guides, posters (on recycled paper), banners (made from recycled plastic bottles), pencils (made from recycled newspaper), buttons (made from recycled steel), and much more. Access to these collateral materials and/or downloadable resources are available to any organization ranging from state and municipal governments to local “green teams” or scouting troops.

Interested in participating in America Recycles Day? Visit https://americarecyclesday.org/pledge to join the 2,720+ people who have already taken the 2011 America Recycles Day Pledge, and set up an event in your community with these helpful tips.

It’s easy to recycle your Boiron packages!  Look for the recycle logo on your next box of Boiron medicine, and make sure to dispose the empty packaging in the appropriate containers. If you have a question on the recyclability of our packaging, please contact the Boiron Information Center at 1.800.BOIRON.1 or email info@boiron.com.

  1. Hi, I don’t see a recycling symbol on the Boiron blue plastic tubes (containing pellets). Are they still recyclable, along with other plastics?

    Thank you!

    1. Hi Susan, yes you can recycle the blue plastic tubes. They are #5 plastic and are typically accepted by most recycling programs in the U.S. but check with your local office to make sure.
