Boiron USA’s president and CEO Janick Boudazin was recently profiled on CEOIntroNet.com, a social network that provides companies’ chief decision makers the opportunity to find and connect with each other and do business together.
“Thirty years ago, when natural medicine was not like it is now, we had to survive [by selling] in small mom and pop stores. As time moved on, the conditions were right to broaden our audience to health food stores, to local pharmacies, to major chains and more, and more people are using our products and talking about them,” Janick said when asked about the state of homeopathy in America. “Now we have a dialog with the health care professionals…I do predict that you will see medical students and hospital workers knowing more and more about our products.” To watch Janick’s entire interview, click here.
Janick also participated in a roundtable, “The perils, the pleasures and the pitfalls of growth,” with fellow CEOs Tom Szaky of TerraCycle Inc. and Gary Nealon of RTA Cabinet Store, and host Patti Owens of Sagehill Partners. That discussion can be found here.
Janick joined Boiron in 1995 as an intern while completing his doctorate of pharmacy degree at Nantes University in France. In 1999, he transferred to the U.S. and worked as the branch manager before becoming the director of medical development. He brings extensive product and operational knowledge to his new role as president, along with an intense dedication to homeopathy. He resides in Media, Pa. with his wife and three children.
