On June 29, ultra runner Abby McQueeney Penamonte competed in the 40^th Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run in California. The tenth female overall to cross the finish line, Abby believes this was her “perfect race,” and by Labor Day, she’ll have competed in three more (for a total of four 100-mile runs in 10 weeks!), hopefully with similar success. After her Western States race, she sent us the following note:

“I just wanted to thank you and update you on my last race. I did Western States 100 last weekend and ran 22:36. This was my fastest time, and I placed as the 10^th female overall (which means I get to go back next year and race it again). I used Arnicare Gel and Sportenine, and I have to say it made an incredible difference! I wasn’t as sore as I usually get in my race. It was incredible! So thank you for the amazing products. I can’t stop talking about them. I am running the Vermont 100 next, and you bet I will bring more Arnica.”

Abby is a long-time fan of Boiron medicines, especially the Arnicare line, which she’s nicknamed her “magic potion.”  An ultra runner for the last three years, she also works as a registered dietitian and nutrition coach at Life Time Fitness in Parker, Colo., and has made nutrition a key aspect of her training program.
